MULTIVALVES AND LPG VALVES
( number of products: 137 )LPG multivalve is a key component of any installation, independent of generation, car power, number of cylinders or tank size. It is a purely mechanical component with no electronics.
In order to maintain safety, the multivalve (as the name implies) has various valves and safety devices in its construction m.in.:
- Solenoid valve, opened during operation of the system
- Thermal valve (fire or fusible), is one of the safety valve, which opens by melting above a temperature of 110 degrees Celsius
- An excess flow valve is also a safety valve activated by an above-normal gas flow (e.g., line damage) exceeding the demand of the regulator
- Safety (overpressure) valve to protect the tank from overpressure, activated above 2.7 Mpa
- Service valve (manual) used most often during installation repair/diagnosis. Closes off the flow of gas to the regulator.
- Non-return valve, a safety valve that allows only one-way flow if the refueling line is damaged.
- An 80% cylinder fill valve that cuts off the gas supply when the cylinder is filled.
Another design element is the magnetic level indicator in the tank. Converting the movement of the float into a rotary motion that can be read by the indication sensor.
The most commonly installed multivalve is a 30 degree toroidal version for a tank located in place of the spare wheel. One of the selection criteria is the height of the tank in the offer we have multi-valves from 180mm to 330mm.
For a tank suspended under the car, we mount an external 0 degree multivalve available in sizes from 180mm to 330mm. When installing it, remember to properly protect it with the external housing available in the kit.
Cylindrical multivalves come in different configurations: 0 degrees, 30 degrees, 90 degrees depending on how the tank is mounted. They are protected by a cylindrical multivalve housing connected by a corrugated pipe (peszel) with ventilation grommets.
Each multi-valve, regardless of the method of installation, the size of the cylinder comes in two versions: standard for 6mm and extra for 8mm. The choice of the right one depends on the power of the car in which it will be installed.
The company's range of A.MAX you will find multivalves of various manufacturers m.in. TOMASETTO and BRC.
